The Walsingham Gallery is located in the classic seaport of Newburyport, Massachusetts. Richly infused with history as well as contemporary sophistication, our charming city has the best of both worlds just 40 miles north of Boston. Our gallery encompasses a building with a unique history of its own. Originally built in 1829 as a sea merchant's warehouse, and renovated with great care to detail in 2001, it includes four spacious gallery rooms accentuated with cherry, oak, brick and marble.

Awarded for its commitment to offering artistic excellence and customer service, The Walsingham Gallery's diverse collection is considered a "destination" for exceptional, original fine art. We represent professional artists who work in a variety of mediums and artistic styles, some of whom are very highly acclaimed, while others are emerging artists with great momentum for the future. We have an active rapport with our artists and understand that success for both artist and gallery is dependent on this symbiotic relationship. Our yearly scheduled events include: five major gallery shows with artist receptions, Art Walks, Winter and Spring Reception Nights, Customer Appreciation Nights, as well as specific gallery events in which we collaborate with the local chamber and businesses.

We offer convenient payment plans and on site Art and Design Consulting Services that make collecting fine art a true pleasure for you.

We are centrally located across from the waterfront .
