The mission of The Walsingham Gallery is to bring to Newburyport and the North Shore the finest original work by artists from New England and afar.
It is our desire to distinguish our gallery as a destination for art collectors and visitors of the area, offering the variety of media, styles, and forms that best represent artistic expression.
The gallery is located within downtown Newburyport's historic waterfront district in a former sea merchant's warehouse constructed in 1829. Upon entering the gallery, you sense that you have entered someplace special. The welcoming fireplace and warm red color of the reception area, coupled with the flow of the unique architectural layout of the gallery set the stage for viewing truly impressive works of art.
The gallery hosts a variety of different shows throughout the year. Visit our News & Events page to view upcoming events or our Contact page to be automatically updated and informed.
